An invited beta
These terms cover evaluation of Atom’s macOS beta and related account service by invited users. The website is a product preview, not an offer of immediate public access, a paid plan, or a guaranteed release date.
Use your own account, keep credentials secure, and use only devices and services you are authorized to access. Access to a third-party agent or model may require a separate account with that provider.
You control what you share
You retain your rights in the content you bring to Atom. Use the beta only with content you have permission to process. Read the Privacy notice for account data, local storage, and external-provider transfers.
Obtain any consent required to record, transcribe, or process meetings or another person’s speech. Do not use voices or generated speech to impersonate someone deceptively or to infringe their rights.
Review assistant actions and output
Assistant tools can affect files, applications, and external services. Review permissions, proposed actions, and results. Generated text, meeting notes, and answers can be inaccurate; check them before relying on them or sharing them with others.
Third-party accounts, agents, models, and services are governed by their own terms. Atom’s sign-in does not grant permission to access someone else’s account or data.
Beta limitations
The beta is unfinished. Features, availability, and compatibility may change, and errors may interrupt work. Keep backups of important files and use appropriate review before taking consequential actions.
Nothing here excludes rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Age and lawful use
Atom is not intended for users under 13. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 13. Follow the laws, workplace rules, and service permissions that apply to your use, including any requirements for recording, voice enrollment, or processing other people’s information. Speaker labels and generated notes are review aids, not proof of identity or certified records.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product develops. Updated terms will appear here with a revised date, and we will provide advance notice of material changes through the app or this website. Updates do not remove mandatory consumer rights. Changes to personal-data collection or use follow the notice and consent provisions in our Privacy policy.
